A letter to A

I am sorry it didn't work out,

I tried my best and I know you did too.

We are imperfect humans with many issues to navigate,

Our lives crossed paths and maybe we were right for each other, maybe it was just the wrong time.

I leant a lot about myself and I thank you for teaching me,

I hope you learnt about yourself too.

In the future we may reconnect.

Regardless of what happens, I wish nothing but the best for you,

I hope life bring you love and happiness and each person you encounter teaches you about yourself.

Love isn't always easy,

It provokes warmth and that fuzzy feeling and it provokes fear and rejection and abandonment.

I feel our issues got the better of us,

My issues of control and your issues of fear.

Life is a journey and love takes us there,

I want you to know that you are loved and its ok to feel loved.

Whatever our future holds,

I thank you for crossing paths with me,

I wont say goodbye,

But see you again.
